Wes Mollison has been studying Tai chi, Qigong and related disciplines for 19 years, and meditation for over 20 years. He has been teaching Tai Chi for 11 years and was given the Advanced Level Instructor grade by the Tai Chi Union for Great Britain in 2008.
After many years studying with various teachers in the UK, he traveled to Hong Kong in 2013 to study Tai Chi, Qigong, Bagua and Neigong with Master Joe Lok - an inheritor of both the Wudang and Dragon Gate Taoism traditions, and the creator of the Phoenix in Graceful Clouds of Blessing Qigong system. After three years of diligent study Wes became a formal 'inside the door' student of Master Lok - undertaking the traditional Bai Shi ceremony in August 2017, as part of Master Lok's 60th birthday celebrations.
"For me, Tai Chi & Qigong are the ultimate holistic practice. Their rich and diverse variety means it is possible for anyone to learn and enjoy at least some facet of these fascinating arts. I am constanly inspired by the way tai chi & qigong gently transform the daily lives of those who practice them. For me, this is their greatest treasure."
Wes teaches Tai Chi and Qigong primarily for health improvement & self cultivation, and is one of a few western teachers authorised to teach Master Lok's Phoenix qigong system. He also teaches Tai Chi Chuan as a method of self-defence, and fundamentals of Taoist meditation, to those with a committed interest.
"The aim of my classes is for mind and movement to follow Nature. The goal is harmony."
Wes runs small classes and private tution in both Newark-On-Trent, Nottinghamshire and Whitby, North Yorkshire. He is available for workshops & seminars and can be contacted by phone on 07730133068 or email email@example.com
